Yeah, "they" are on the run all right

A rocket attack apparently targeting U.S. ships in the Jordanian Red Sea port of Aqaba killed a Jordanian soldier and wounded another, officials said. "A suspected mortar rocket flew over the USS Ashland's bow and impacted in a warehouse on the pier in the vicinity of the Ashland and USS Kearsarge," according to a statement from U.S. Central Command. No U.S. military personnel were injured.

Three Katyusha rockets were fired from a warehouse in Aqaba close to the port, a Jordanian government statement said.

The Katyusha were originally developeded by the Soviets in the late 30s. They were nicknamed "Stalens (tee hee) Organ". They are a popular rocket in the middle eastand have been used by many armies of the region for years, most recently by the Palestinians against the Israel. The first joint weapons project between the U.S and Israel was a laser guided ant-missile system developed specifically to fight this kind of short range missile.
