Okay. Buzzfeed just came out with a lovely piece about yet another Another current or former Trump advisor with a relationship with Russia . And yes, Buzzfeed, purveyors of dopy quizzes about what your lunch "really means" and how your love of 80s sitcoms foretells how many kids you will have, more and more often brings you kill peices on the Trump administration. They are not dealers in fake news.
Carter Page isn't on this graph, but he would belong under the nebulous "Trump Campaign". The graph, which I wish was easier to read, but I found several online and none of them are easy to read, I suspect because there are so many names on them, this graph is from last week and is not entirely up to date.
Earlier Monday came the news that Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education's, brother, Eric Prince of Black Water Fame was doing some back channel footsy with the Russians for Trump . In One Day we learned all these things about the Trump administration friends and family plan and the Russians.
I don't have the knowledge or political science background to explain any of it to you. It confuses me and leaves me feeling dizzy. I do however suggest that you follow @20committee on Twitter immediately because he does have the knowledge and the polisi background to explain all of this. He does speak in acronyms and spy jargon you will spend a lot of time on Google but it will make you feel much more worldly, for example: IC means "Intelligence Community". Go here , and read John R. Roberts collected work at http://observer.com , forewarned is forearmed, said mag is owned by Jared Kushner. Roberts is a safe bet however and he is strongly in the Never Trump camp of conservative Country Before Party writers that even a good lefty can read and learn from.

2011 Oscar Nominations
Best Picture
Black Swan - I've heard this is really good and that Portman is outstanding. Did I mention that college taught me to hate dancers? They are banana clip wearing prima donnas who can't be bothered to build their own sets or sell their own tickets and think costumes grow on trees. Brats. I hear this is also about mental illness, so I am assuming this is a dance documentary.
The Fighter - Poor Irish kids in a Boston suburb turn to boxing and meth sales to support their birth control echewing families.
Inception - Leo Dicaprio and a green screen team up to fight crime.,
The Kids Are All Right - Gay parents raise children that are just as douchebaggy/conflicted/over praised as het parents!
The King's Speech - The King has a speech impediment and goes to a speech pathologist. Prevails over speech impediment and Nazism. (will win)
127 Hours - Male hiker cuts off own arm before he asks for directions.
The Social Network - Facebook inventors learn about privacy settings the hard way. (will win for Director)
Toy Story 3 - You grow up and put the toys away and it makes the toys sad or not.
True Grit - Cowboys shoot each other and beat on a child who kills one of them and grows up to be more of a man than any of them. (Best Adapted Screen play)
Winter's Bone - A girl goes and searches for her scum bag meth addict father so he can help them not lose the meth house they call home.
Best Supporting Actor
Christian Bale, The Fighter - I really liked him as a child actor. He is now a douchebag.
John Hawkes, Winter's Bone - The run away meth addict or one of his kids.
Jeremy Renner, The Town - Not actually something they put together as a show within the show for Entourage.
Mark Ruffalo, The Kids Are All Right - The all right sperm behind the all right kids. (If he wins, Benning won't)
Geoffery Rush, The King's Speech - A lot nicer than Henry Higgens
Best Supporting Actress
Amy Adams, The Fighter - She just won, she needs to sit out a year.
Helena Bonham Carter, The King's Speech - The dress she wore to the Golden Globes was offensive.
Melissa Leo, The Fighter - Totally cornered the market on White Trash women.
Hailee Steinfeld, True Grit - Killed the bad guy, kicked butt, did not die at the end. (will win - its her first time out and she's a child.A BSA shoe-in)
Jacki Weaver, Animal Kingdom - No idea at all. Don't know why she's here, assuming as sop to snobby New York Times movie reviewers who are the only people who have seen this film.
Best Actor
Javier Bardem, Biutiful - Title miss-spelled, out of running.
Jeff Bridges, True Grit - Just won this last year, good for him though.
Jessie Eisenberg, The Social Network - He's hosting SNL this weekend.
Colin Firth, The King's Speech - Good chance he's going to win, the Academy loves a good handicap and really loves films about defeating Nazis.
James Franco, 127 Hours - I feel like this guy has been doing the worlds longest Performance Art piece of all time. Stop all ready. He wants a Day Time Emmy and an Oscar?

And the Oscar (tm) Went to...
And again, I stay up so you don't have to. I am all about the self sacrifice.
Damn. This thing isn't even scheduled to leave the ground until 8:30! Shit. I'll be up all night, I may have to reevaulate my dedication to self sacrifice.
8:30 - Finally underway. Lame-ly, but underway.
But wait! NPH? Wow, this is going to be better than I thought. Can he stay? He's so cute and so good at this. He should be on broadway not wasting his talent on a sitcom. Love him. Love Busby Berkley too. Enough with the love...Can we just hand out the damn awards? Please? I'll go order one of his books new from Amazon and everything. Are we really going to introduce everyone in the damn audience? We all ready trotted out all the acting nominees, wasn't that enough.

Census Worker Lynched
Sparkman was found this month hanged from a tree near a Kentucky cemetery with the word "fed" scrawled on his chest, a law enforcement official said Wednesday, and the FBI is investigating whether he was a victim of anti-government sentiment.
census worker lynched?
Whether he was a victim of anti-government sentiment? They are comfortable with "whether"?. He was hung from a tree and they wrote "fed" on his chest. I don't think "whether" is appropriate. He was lynched because he was from the government. And "they" called us unpatriotic. HA.
An ACORN office, one! Gets railroaded and liberals everywhere are whore mongers. The rightwing KILLS PEOPLE and nothing. Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin and FAUX News made this happen.

Well.
Well. I don't know what I was going to post before, but Wow. Big day huh? I mean, its terrible for their families and they both left kids, but dayum, the Entertainment News people must have all simultaneously came in their pants.
I hope Jackson's children end up with uncreepy people. My long term hopes for them would be that they get the gift of real lives and a lot of very high quality psychiatric help.
I get my birthday back. It's always been a burr in my saddle that I shared a birthday with Micheal Jackson.
Poor Farah Fawcett. The upside of the spotlight being pulled away would be that hopefully her family and friends will be able to mourn her in privacy. You know Mother Theresa went up to her and said "Dude. I totally feel you. I died right round when Princess Di did. Sucks for us." Of course, I'm paraphrasing.
The news of Jacksons death has pushed Iran off the trending topics on Twiiter. "Good luck with your revolution Iran, but we have to deal with a dead pedo pop star right now. We'll get back to you." We suck.

Really?
There was just nothing right about the Bush Admins handling of the Iraq War, not one damned thing. Shockingly, Donald Rumsfeld illustrated with photos of soldiers at prayer and bible verses on the covers of the daily war briefings he presented Shrub with: see slide show , as a believer this sickens me and lets me know what low esteem they held my faith. It's disgusting.
