Pat Robertson calls for assassination of Hugo Chavez

We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability," Robertson said Monday on the Christian Broadcast Network's The 700 Club.

Alleged follower of Jesus and key player for Hugo Chavez' publicists, "Rev". Pat Robertson called for the U.S to validate Chavez' megalomaniacal attention whore status and his mis-directed Daddy issues by demanding that the U.S assassinate the wacky Banana Republic strongman.

edited to add email to my local FAUX affilate:

To Whom It May Concern,

It has come to my attention that your station carries The 700 Club. On a recent broadcast Rev. Robertson called for the assassination of a democratically elected foreign head of state. This was a call for terrorism and I think it is an appropriate time for your station to discontinue airing episodes of this television show. You can read more about the Reverends outburst here http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-08-22-robertson-_x.htm.

Sincerely,

Diana
