Friday the 13th. Lovely. You get a Friday, which is wonderful in itself, but at the same time, you get the 13th, which defines "not wonderful" which even when it falls on a Tuesday, makes a day which is more or less meh under the best of circumstances veer into blergh territory normally reserved for those Mondays where it sleets but not snows.
This time its a Friday and I've had a really long week and I really deserve a long weekend and as luck would have it, we're going into a three day weekend - the last three day weekend until freaking April. I am going to totally embrace this Friday. Even if a piano falls on my head. The next time we get a day off is Good Friday, which according to some sources the originally date was a "13th", which is why the day is unlucky. But I think that assumes they were using a modern calendar and not what they were using at the time. But its a nice story.
Okay. Alec Baldwin dropped some weight and fixed his hair and he's looking kind of hot. Not his really, lets be serious, unnatural Betelgeuse era hotness, but much hotter than his recent 30 Rock era pudgy lukewarmness as he was beginning to look like a cruise ship. Go Alec.
